Policy
ACE Debt
Recovery is required by law to maintain the privacy of your information and is
ethical in the operation of its business to diligently protect the integrity and
accuracy of the information it holds and to respect the privacy of the consumer
that it has dealings with.
Sources of
information:
The
majority of the information that ACE Debt Recovery possesses is provided by our
Clients, who collect such information in the normal operation of their business
in the context of supplying goods or providing services. ACE Debt Recovery may gather additional
information from communications with consumers and other resources or where
appropriate.
Data
Mining:
As a matter
of practice and policy ACE Debt Recovery does not consolidate, trade, sell or
share consumer information to outside organizations for solicitation or other
irrelevant purposes. Information on resolved accounts is not retained in
active databases. All information
on resolved accounts is securely archived and only relevant information may be
returned back to the original Client.

ACE Debt
Recovery is aware of its obligations in respect to consumer information and
maintains a strict confidentiality policy which is implemented throughout all
business processes. All staff and
associates are appropriately instructed of this confidentiality policy in
writing prior to any access and only granted specific access as deemed
necessary. ACE Debt Recovery will provide its Legal Representatives and
Courts with information where relevant, and will involve only the appropriate
parties when implementing court orders.
Access to
and verification of information:
ACE Debt
Recovery implements a policy to verify and establish the identity of persons
requesting any information in regards to their own account or of which they are
in some manner responsible for.
Under no circumstances will any information be released if all policy
procedures have not been met. All
requests for copies of information must be submitted in writing and must have an
original signature and/or also be accompanied with a power of attorney. Upon receipt of such request, it will
then be at the sole discretion of ACE Debt Recovery as to what information is
released.
